The course also covers hydration planning, competition-day nutrition (pre-, during-, and post-event), and practical considerations like meal planning during travel. You will work through real-world case studies (e.g. marathon runners, triathletes, weightlifters, team-sport players) and create nutrition plans that optimize energy levels, aid recovery, and support athletic goals.Nutrition questions such as: Approximately what percentage of an endurance athlete’s calories should come from carbohydrates? After a heavy weightlifting session, what should a strength athlete eat/drink to optimize muscle recovery?Carbs loading strategy before Ironman raceWhat is the hydration strategy for long races?
